About Us

Our mission is to recreate the tastes of the first spirits such as Rum, Gin, and to the best of our research and ability, Bourbon.  Our Rum is based on the first Rum made which came from molasses.  We use only the best US sourced molasses in our rum.

  Our Gin is whiskey based which is the same whiskey we use to make our bourbon.  All of our corn, grains and malt come from local Virginia farms and we have contracted special Indian corn for our whiskey base,  Both the Rum and Gin are based on the earliest information of production of each product which comes from the 17th century.

We do a lot of research to ensure our recipes are exact so that when you try our spirits, you are getting the flavors of what the first Rum and Gin tasted like.  Our commitment to excellence and period recipes shows in what we do.  As we move forward we will be doing everything we can to make as much of your experience an old world style.  Come and visit us.
